New this year is the addition of InfoSnap, an online registration portal that parents may access to complete the necessary student registration paperwork prior to their school’s designated date. Parents will be able to complete the registration forms online and then bring the necessary verification documents (birth certificate, address verification, immunization record) into the school for review on their home school’s designated registration date. Registration will not be considered complete until school office staff has verified all documents.
All registration requirements are available at school sites for those parents who may have questions regarding the legal age and immunization requirements for entry into school and for the specific dates of each individual school’s registration.
It is the District’s hope to continue to provide our families and community with services that will make student registration as convenient and efficient as possible.

Jo Ellen Misakian spent years making a difference in thousands of lives at Lone Star School when she was librarian. Now, she's doing it again.
After leaving Sanger Unified she began teaching at Fresno Pacific helping teachers become Library Media Teachers.
At her recent retirement party she asked that people donate new books or money to be used at Lone Star to purchase new books for the library.
On Friday, May 22nd Principal Lori Welch and Librarian Janet Lenocker were presented with a box of books and a check for $500. Misakian was so touched by the outpouring of love that she matched the $500 donation.
When she was librarian, Jo Ellen Misakian was at Lone Star and John Wash she focused on getting students reading. The Young Author's Fair and helping get "The Outsiders" movie made were two of her projects.
Kathy Pinasco, Sanger Unified's District Library Coordinator stated, “The school and the Sanger Unified School District is so thankful to have such an amazing supporter. The Students and the staff are the winners.”
Read Across America
We would like to thank Dr. Lamas, Vice President at Fresno State and everyone who read a book to our students during this year's Read Across America. A special thank you to Mrs. Lenocker for helping organize this event!

Dr. Leroy M. Morishita
California State University East Bay
Dr. Morishita spoke with the 6th grade students about fulfilling their dreams and attending the college of their choice. Dreams do come true.
Getting students to and from school safely is our number one priority. Parents, please spend the time to read and review our Transportation Safety Plan with your child. This plan highlights important procedures for District staff, parents, and students, as well as rules for students to follow while riding the bus. This plan is also available at your school site.
